Gas-shielded Solid Welding Wire
CO2 gas-shielded welding is a kind of welding technology developed in the 1950s. During the past 50 years, it hasbecome an important welding method and are being widely applied in many fields, such as automotive industry, construction machinery production, shipbuilding, metallurgical equipment production, bridges, civil works, petrochemical industry, production of pressure vessels of boilers, locomotive vehicles, etc.
More and more fields are using CO2 gas-shielded welding wire. At the same time, it is partly replacing manual arc welding with electrodes. Such wires have accounted for 40-50% in all kinds of welding consumables in industrialized countries. Some of its characteristics are as follows：
